Meet Dr. Hooper
Grant Hooper, DDS - February 2025 -Tucson Dentist - Riverside Dental, PC
Dr Grant Hooper was first introduced to Riverside Dental as a patient, which inspired his career choice in dentistry. Graduating from Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, Dr Hooper attended Cedarville University in Ohio, where he got his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Dr Hooper graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, then furthered his education with an AEGD residency with New York University, and has practiced for several years in Ohio before finally coming back home to Tucson.
Dr Hooper shared his love for Tucson with his wife, Kate, and together they are excited to raise their family in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Their young daughter, Kiki, is the joy of their lives and they hope to share their love of hiking, travel, and good food with her. Dr Hooper earned his Eagle Scout award from Tucson Troop 270 and his name can be found on a few community art projects around Sahuarita.
Tucson’s love of art and community greatly inspired Dr Hooper’s passion for dentistry. Dr Hooper loves creating art and dentistry allows him the ability to create the perfect smile for his patients. Dr Hooper loves his community, and has spent many hours providing dental services to underserved populations through clinics, mission trips, Special Olympics, and pediatric outreach programs. Dr Hooper cares for the desert environment, and loves spending time protecting and preserving native desert flora.
Dr Hooper is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Arizona Dental Association, and stays up to date on best practice recommendations through many hours of continuing education each year. Dr Hooper has a gift for teaching and has practiced as faculty for both New York University and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
Dr Hooper is an excellent listener and really wants to hear you and understand your concerns. Dr Hooper treats conservatively but is skilled in many areas of general dentistry. Dr Hooper’s passion for dentistry and quality care is demonstrated in his daily practice and interactions with patients and staff members. Dr Hooper hopes to bring smiles to people across Tucson by listening and meeting their dental needs with gentleness and respect.
